Resource Scotland has been asked to source and select candidates for a number of posts for a subsidiary company of the largest privately owned construction PLC in the UK. The company is one of the UK's principal building services providers, delivering innovative, high quality, lifecycle solutions for their customers. Working throughout Scotland these posts involve high profile projects in the Health, Education and Private sectors over the next three to five years.

Reporting to the Project Manager you will ensure that all installations are carried out with the maximum efficiency, to the highest quality and to the company’s standard on all key issues. Key roles will involve the management of labour, ensure that all works are installed to CHt standard and maintain a safe working environment.


Key Tasksand responsibilities
• Monitor and record works and monitor / record works to enable hand over
• Identify and obtain relevant information in order to plan works
• Determine methods of works and programme of works
• Administrative systems and on–site administrative systems
• Establish and maintain quality procedures
• Provide information to enable the completion of works
• Provide information on methods and programmes
• Provide information on site organisation and systems
• Determine resource requirements for works
• Procure materials for the execution of works
• Monitor and control supply of materials
• Monitor and control sub-contract operations
• Monitor and control use and deployment of plant and equipment
• Procure sub-contractors to meet ongoing requirements
• Procure plant and equipment for the execution of work

• Monitoring expenditure
• Monitoring expenditure against works packaging
• Monitoring and record works to enable financial recovery
• Monitoring and control defects
• Inspecting, preparing and maintain site for the execution of works
• Monitoring and control personnel
• Implementing disciplinary and grievance procedures
• Assigning responsibility for roles and tasks necessary for the completion of works
