Resource Scotland has been asked to source and select candidates for a number of posts for a subsidiary company of the largest privately owned construction PLC in the UK. The company is one of the UK's principal building services providers, delivering innovative, high quality, lifecycle solutions for their customers. Working throughout Scotland these posts involve high profile projects in the Health, Education and Private sectors over the next three to five years.

You will produce and monitor a computer based programme which ensures that the projects will complete on time and within the given budget. You will have industry knowledge and a trade background or in engineering and have completed a craft level apprenticeship.


Reporting to the Planning Manager you will:

• Compile project programme installation, procurement and drawing programme
• Identify key dates start/finish and resources available
• Agree the format with M/C
• Evaluate problem areas and highlight areas of concern
• Analyse information supplied by suppliers/sub-contractors
• Accumulate data from all parties
• Monitor progress installation procurement, design drawings
• Check on progress, verify works complete and review any possible delays
• Monitor material deliveries and drawing production and analyse information supplied by suppliers/sub-contractors
• Accumulate data from all parties and keep reports up to date
• Prepare targets, review results and report and target work areas
• Review progress and prepare detailed reports
• Recommend any remedial works necessary and forecast progress
