PROCUREMENT ADMINISTRATORS – RES / 515

Resource Scotland has been asked to source and select candidates for a number of posts for a subsidiary company of the largest privately owned construction PLC in the UK. The company is one of the UK's principal building services providers, delivering innovative, high quality, lifecycle solutions for their customers. Working throughout Scotland these posts involve high profile projects in the Health, Education and Private sectors over the next three to five years.

Contract Support and Administration

The duties include will include:

• preparing Health and Safety Files /Health and Safety Plans
• completing purchase orders, recording mail, running plant hire reports
• setting up tender and job files, updating drawing registers, recording timesheets, preparing and updating company profile, assisting in tender submissions
• preparing and tracking material and subcontract tender enquiries
• maintenance and control of PPE stock, distributing as necessary
• general administration duties – diaries and travel, conference arrangements etc.

You should have excellent administration and organisational skills, with the ability to work under some pressure within a busy civil engineering office. Utilisng your negotiation skills you will negotiate and agree price plan with suppliers and build and maintain good relationships whilst doing so. Other duties will involve the use of a bespoke Purchase order and Accounting system, to assist the Project Managers with the preparation of pre-qualification questionnaires and to progress meeting agendas etc.
